Carmarthen railway station is on the West Wales line between Swansea and Fishguard and is located just south of the town off the A484 road through the town by the river bridge. The post code is SA31 2BE.

Ticket office open Monday to Friday 0645 - 1800, Saturday 08.00 - 18.00 and Sunday 10:15 - 17:45.

Ticket machine. Live Departure and Arrival screens, payphones, waiting room, station buffet, toilets.

Car parking @ £4.25/day - 64 spaces, Accessible spaces - 4, Cycle storage - 16.  Taxi rank.

When arriving by train, for the town centre turn left out of the station and follow a footpath and a bridge over the river.
