Tywyn railway station is on the Cambrian Coast Line from Machynlleth to Pwllheli, located close to the town centre off the A493 which runs through the town. The postcode is LL36 9EY.

The station is unstaffed; buy tickets on the train. Live Departure screens.

Car parking no charge for passengers - 20 spaces; 6 cycle storage lockers.

Approaching from the south on the A493, the station will be on your left just before the road turns sharp right. Arriving on the train, turn left and immediately right for the town centre. For the Talyllyn Railway’s Tywyn Wharf station, turn right out of the station.
