About

Haimwood Shooting Ground is located by the River Severn on the Wales border in the unspoiled Montgomeryshire countryside, in a beautiful setting in 30 acres of parkland. The Ground is open for practice or tuition, on weekdays, from 10.30am until 6.00pm. On Sundays it is open from 10.30am until 2.30pm.

Haimwood is set up for sporting layout and there are around fifty different stands available. There are two towers, one at seventy feet and the other at forty feet. Unaccompanied shooters are able to use all the stands by means of a foot switch.

The superb venue offers a wide range of sporting clay targets. Whatever your requirements, the friendly, experienced team will assist you in every possible way to make your experience enjoyable and productive.

The relaxed and informal atmosphere will welcome you to your shooting experience. The comfortable cabin, where you can enjoy the light refreshments, is an ideal meeting place.

Catering
Haimwood  cater for all tastes, from banquets to butties, in the cabin or in our dining room in the house. Marquees are available for larger groups.

Corporate Days
Corporate days here provide great hospitality and fun for large or small groups. Packages are tailor made to suit your own particular requirements and  co-operate with other activity providers and offer multi activity corporate days tailored to your own needs.

From Llandrinio (B4393 to shrewsbury). Take the turning by the traffic lights at the narrow bridge. Take the first turning right after 400 yards.

This is a no through road. Stay on this road until the end of the road (1.5 miles) and SG is on the right
