At Xplore! you will discover interactive exhibits, live science shows and daring demonstrations — all at a place for doing and not just looking!

With an ever-changing programme of special events, new exhibits and science shows, there are many reasons why you’ll want to come back again and again!

We have a dedicated science shop, which is open 9:30am – 4:30pm every day of the week.

The café serves and caters for a wide selection of diets and preferences.

Childrens Parties - Our Parties are Slime - filled, Space travelling, Dinosaur travelling fun. Escape the stress of party planning by coming to Xplore!

Road Directions

By Car

From Chester, M53, M56 and North Wales coast, take the A55 to the A483 junction (signposted Wrexham). Travel south on the A483 and come off at junction 6, taking the third exit (A5152) into Wrexham town centre (Chester Street).

​From Oswestry, Midlands and Mid Wales take the A483 north towards Wrexham. Follow the brown tourism information signs from Junction 5 (A541) into the town centre.

​Car parks are located within a short walk of our centre. The closest are the Wrexham Council car parks at Ty Pawb (LL13 8BY), Waterworld (LL13 8BG) and the Library (LL11 1WS).
