Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway

Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway

Our vintage saloons will be in operation, hauled by one of our steam locomotives.

We are proud to have available for traffic two heritage vehicles that we form into our Vintage Train:-

GER No3 - Owned by Stately Trains and on hire to the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway for the foreseeable future. The vehicle was built in 1911 for the Great Eastern Railway as their Directors Saloon. The vehicle was withdrawn in 1972 and preserved in 1973.

Manchester and Milford Saloon 'M&M' - Originally built for the Manchester and Milford Railway, hence the nickname "M&M". This vehicle forms the 2nd vehicle in our vintage rake.
