About

9 trails around the rollercoaster landscape of Abertillery.

Each trail is carefully graded to match the ability of the walker with the demands of the trail. The trails are clustered from 4 hubs at Abertillery Park, Cwmtillery Lakes, Guardian and St Illtyds Church. Each trail has its own character often taking in spectacular views of the valley.

In Abertillery you are never to far away from the mining history of the area and the routes take in this history along with stories of early non conformist ministry, folklore and fable. Many of the trails also link to the Ebbw Fach Trail.
