About

There are numerous forest trails throughout the Dyfnant Forest. There are three trails that start from this car park:

The Pont Llogel trail (1 mile, 1.6 kilometres).
The surface of this Trail is suitable for wheelchairs. Your starting point is from the picnic site at Pont Llogel on the B4395, 3 miles NE of Llangadfan on the A458 West from Welshpool.

The Ann Griffiths Walk (7 miles, 11 kilometres; managed by Powys County Council).
This waymarked linear walk commemorates the famous hymn writer, Ann Griffiths. It winds an enchanting course down the Vyrnwy valley from Pont Llogel to Pontrobert.

The Pererindod Melangell Walk (15 miles, 24 kilometres; managed by Powys County Council).
This challenging linear walk finishes in Llangynog. It traces a route between the Vyrnwy and Tanat Valleys, trodden in centuries past by pilgrims, quarrymen and drovers.
