Alex Allpress established his Ceramics business and pottery school in 1999 and his Pottery Experience Days are as much about enjoying making and learning a new skill, as having your work fired and using it when you get back home. The perfect environment to unwind, learn a new skill and discover hidden talents. Everybody can do it. there are no mistakes in pottery, just happy accidents and learning experiences! Weekend Special Price All inclu with Lunch and firings: £165 Full Day throwing on the wheel by speciality tutors and ONLY small groups of up to Max. 4 p. Only £105. Depending if you want half day or Full It will start at 10am: If you want work fired and sent home, they may be extra charges depending on how much work you made that you want to keep and fire. Work can take 6-8 weeks TBC to be sent home as it has to dry and be fired twice and if we are busy it can be longer. So you may want to bring cash change for firings. We offer tea and coffee, but you may wants to bring lunch.
