Y Talbot, a 400-year-old inn with slate floors, inglenooks and Welsh cask ales. Seasonal menus offer full-flavoured traditional dishes made with Welsh produce. Croeso i bawb!
Listed in the Michelin Guide, our bustling bar and 2 AA Rosette restaurant serve the best lamb, beef and cheeses from the Teifi Valley, fresh fish from Milford Haven and Cardigan Bay shellfish.
Trained by Marco Pierre White our Head Chef Dafydd Watkin and his team focus on expertly prepared, top quality ingredients whether it’s our pub classics, fresh fish, beef and game, vegetarian or vegan dishes. As for our starters and desserts...

Y Talbot welcomes guests with limited mobility, there are no steps or ramps on the ground floor, an accessible toilet and a ground floor accessible bedroom.
For warm, dry days there is an attractive patio and stunning terraced garden to the rear of the hotel.
We extend a warm welcome to cyclists and bikers and provide drying facilities and lockable storage.
Dogs are welcome in our bar, garden and our three garden facing bedrooms.
Superfast Broadband & Free WiFi is also available.
By Car: Y Talbot is situated on the Square, Tregaron which is just off the A485 between Aberystwyth and Lampeter.
By Bus: Bus routes pass through The Square.

We are CLOSED on Sunday evening and all day Monday. We are OPEN Tuesday from 3.00pm, all day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and until 4.00pm on Sunday.
