Brecon Medieval Festival May

Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural festival we’re delighted to announce that our Medieval Festival is returning, this year over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.

Highlights include:

A combat arena - Medieval Combat Wales, The Company of the Raven, The Freemen of Gwent and Blaeddau Du will all be showcasing their battle skills.

Food and drink - Feast on a delicious variety of food and drink 

Music and entertainment - Medieval instruments, jesters, drums, demonstrations

Vikings - Blaeddu, Welsh Viking group, will be setting up a raiding camp on the Bishop Williamson garden at the bottom of the hill

Marketplace - visit our medieval marketplace for a range of bespoke crafts and gifts

Living history and education - medieval surgery, weapons displays, educational lectures

Murder mystery - medieval themed murder mystery evening. A ticketed event with limited availability.
