A very comfortable cottage sleeping up to six adults in a lovely position overlooking Amroth beach with superb views across Saundersfoot Bay. Coastal walks, by beach when the tide is out, or along well-maintained footpaths, lead east towards the Carmarthenshire Coast Path and the magnificently isolated Marros Sands, or west towards Tenby from the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The village of Amroth is approximately half a mile along the seafront, with shops, pubs, and restaurants. Nearby, the New Inn is renowned for home-cooked food and traditional beers. Many local attractions are within a short drive, including horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, and the National Trust gardens at Colby Lodge. A public slipway is nearby for boating, and beach fishing is a popular local activity.
The front entrance from the patio takes you into a comfortably furnished lounge and dining room with wood burning stove and Broadwood piano. There is a separate fully fitted kitchen. Stairs lead to three pretty bedrooms, one a double with King Size bed, washbasin, and sea views, a second twin bedroom with washbasin and sea views, leading to a smaller third twin bedroom with washbasin and the same marvellous sea views. All beds have duvets and bed linen is provided, but bring your own towels. The bathroom is on a half-landing with bath, overhead shower, WC, and washbasin. Small side garden and use of large private seaside garden with stream and wildlife pond.
