The Visit Wales graded 4* Plas Hafan Seaview Apartment is situated on the quieter south promenade beyond the castle, close to Aberystwyth harbour and marina. There is free 'on street' parking with a pay and display car park at the far end.
The bright and airy second floor apartment for up to 4 people has gas central heating, a spacious lounge, 2 good sized bedrooms, a fully fitted modern dining/kitchen and fully tiled bathroom (shower - no bath). All gas, electricity, quality linen and towels are included in the price as well as a complimentary welcome pack for your arrival including milk, bread, butter, conserves, tea, coffee, eggs and cereals.
The spacious lounge overlooks the beach to the front and provides glorious views of Cardigan Bay from the large bay window. It is well furnished and includes a Smart HD TV (incl Freeview HD), Blu-ray DVD player, Mini Hi-Fi (Bluetooth, CD player, DAB radio, Audio In and Headphone sockets) and free wi-fi. A selection of games, books, and DVDs are provided and even a pair of binoculars for dolphin spotting! There is also an information pack which provides information about the apartment, the town of Aberystwyth and the surrounding area.
The 2 bedrooms provide flexibility of sleeping arrangements as they can be made up as either 2 doubles or 1 double and 1 twin. Both bedrooms have a DAB/FM alarm clock radio, mirror and wardrobe space with plenty of hangers. A hairdryer is provided in each bedroom.
The dining kitchen is equipped with all the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans that are needed for a self-catering holiday. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric oven and gas hob, microwave and toaster. Iron and ironing board also available.
The fully tiled bathroom includes a large two-way shower and a heated towel rail.

By Car: Aberystwyth is on the main A44 and A487 roads
By Public Transport: Rail & bus services to Aberystwyth.
Directions from A44 Llangurig:
Follow A44 for approx 20 miles past Ponterwyd, Goginan and Capel Bangor until you come to a roundabout. Carry straight on for Aberystwyth via Llanbadarn. Continue straight on at double mini roundabouts (road bears to the left and changes to A487). Cross over two sets of railway tracks and continue to the next roundabout where you will see Morrisons supermarket and McDonalds. Take the 3rd exit into the town. Continue past Kwik Fit on the left and Somerfield and Matalan on the right until you come to another roundabout. Turn left here into Mill Street and continue to the T-junction where you will see Rummers Wine Bar in front of you. Turn right and then immediately left into South Road. Continue along South Road to the seafront and then turn left into South Marine Terrace.
Directions from South Wales A487 Aberaeron:
Follow the A487 through the village of Rhydyfelin and up the hill to Southgate and Penparcau. At the roundabout take the 1st exit (left / straight on) and continue along this road for approximately 1 mile. As you approach Aberystwyth, you will pass the fire station and marina on your left and then cross over a bridge (Trefechan Bridge) and Rummers Wine Bar will be on your left. Take the first left turn immediately after the bridge into South Road. There is a butcher’s shop (E Morgan) on the corner. Continue along South Road to the seafront and then turn left into South Marine Terrace.
Directions from North Wales A487 Machynlleth:
Follow A487 through the village of Bow Street and on for a further few miles until you approach Aberystwyth from the top of Penglais Hill, with a footbridge above and the sea in front of you. Continue down the hill into the town. You will pass the University campus on your left. At the bottom of the hill the road bears to the left, past the pub “The Weston Vaults”. Take the right hand lane and continue onto the 1st roundabout. Go straight across and through the traffic lights to the next roundabout, which you should also approach in the right hand lane.
Go straight across this roundabout into Mill Street and continue to the T-junction where you will see Rummers Wine Bar in front of you. Turn right and then immediately left into South Road. Continue along South Road to the seafront and then turn left into South Marine Terrace.
