Archery at Black Mountains Activity CentreArcheryArchery has been around for centuries both as a method of hunting and a way of waging war. Today it is largely used as a recreational sport which is fun. challenging, very competitive and suitable for all ages.
Our Archery sessions take place on-site at our activity centre, using purpose built archery range. This allows participants the chance to learn the skills of archery safely, comfortably and under the close supervision of our experienced instructors.
We have a range of archery bows suitable for a variety of ages with bow sizes ranging from lightweight training bows to more powerful recurved bows. Once you have got used to your bow and had some pointers from one of our instructors, you will be scoring higher and higher and soon be going for gold! This activity is suitable for both adults and children (aged 8 years +) making it fantastic for families or for anyone who is looking for a fun and relaxed way to spend a few hours.
Wales is operating country-wide restrictions and is currently at coronavirus alert level four, with strict measures in place to limit the spread of the virus. Please check on the Welsh Government website before visiting or travelling to Wales or within Wales.
