Mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, bird watching and horse riding is also well catered for in this area of Snowdonia, or you can take it easy and enjoy the beautiful lakes and mountains of Snowdonia, or the coastline and beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula and Anglesey.
Betws-y-Coed has a wide range of places to eat in the evening including pubs, restaurants and cafés. The village also has a good selection of shops including craft/gift shops, and outdoor shops with well known names like Hawkshead, Cotswold Outdoor and Stewart Cunningham.
