Pengwern Country House is a beautiful 4 star Bed and Breakfast, set within two acres of wild woods, overlooking the beautiful Lledr Valley, 1 mile from the bustling picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, the 'Gateway' to the Snowdonia National Park. Ideally situated to explore Snowdonia and North Wales. Just a short walk from Pengwern, you will find Conwy Falls and Fairy Glen.

Pengwern has a relaxed county house atmosphere, is traditional but upbeat, with log fires, slate floor, a large sitting room with pictures reflecting its artistic past.

We offer 3 bedrooms.

George Wightwick Room: Super King (6’) bed, Lledr valley view, steps to en-suite bathroom with roll top bath with bath shower mixer taps. On request, this room can also be configured to Twin (3’)
Richard Gay Somerset Room: King (5’) bed, Lledr valley view, en-suite bathroom with roll top bath with bath shower mixer taps.
Maggie Plas Room: Four poster (5’) bed, with views to the side garden, en-suite bathroom with corner bath (with seating) and bath shower mixer taps.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and come equipped with complimentary toiletries, complimentary tea and coffee, hairdryer, radio, and alarm clock.

We also offer our guests a guest lounge area with books, games, private parking, free Wi-Fi, complimentary flask filling.
