North Wales has a lot to offer from fishing to mountain walking, this makes Penisar Mynydd Caravan Park a great base to see North Wales and its beauty.

Penisar Mynydd Caravan Park Ltd can accommodate up to 72 Caravans and we also have a large tent field. . All caravan pitches are on hard standing, many of which have water and all have drainage. Some grass pitches are available for use at peak times. Our tenting area is a 2 acre well maintained flat field with fantastic views of the Clwydian range.

There are a large variety of pleasant local walks, including Offa's Dyke, whilst the coastal resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn are a very short drive away (aprox 4 miles).

In the nearby village of Dyserth (aprox 3 miles) are the astounding Dyserth waterfalls. Also within just a few minutes drive are Rhuddlan Castle and Bodrhyddan Hall.

Other coastal resorts, including Colwyn Bay and Llandudno are within easy reach, as are the beautiful areas of Betws-Y-Coed, Swallow Falls and The Snowdonia National Park.

For the avid anglers, there are trout farms within a 10 minute drive and excellent fishing in the River Elwy at nearby St. Asaph. Golfers are catered for with an abundance of courses in the area, including: Holywell, Caerwys, Meliden, Rhuddlan, Prestatyn and Rhyl.
