Carrog Farm Cottages

About

`Croeso' (welcome) to Carrog Farm!!
Stay at Carrog - choose between one of our three beautiful self-catering farm cottages -`Y Gorlan', `Beudy Carrog' and `Stabal Carrog'. We are on the B4417 at Llangwnadl, 2 miles from Tudweiliog, 7 miles from Aberdaron, 7 miles from Abersoch and 7 miles from Nefyn - we couldn't be more central!!

During 2009 - 2010 the old stone farm buildings were sympathetically converted into three comfortable holiday cottages. Each one with its' own particular character and style they were originally the farm stables, cowsheds and milking parlour. Original pitch pine beams and trusses show scrawled dates varying from 1894 onwards. We have kept as much as possible of the original layout of the buildings and here and there a few exposed stone walls still remain - contributing to maintaining the original character. Slate floors and quality leather and pine furniture with a few traditional iron beds complement the setting!

Don't be mistaken into thinking that you are stepping back in time for your holiday though - all the cottages have dishwashers, microwaves, coffee machines, bath and shower, heated towel rails, large LCD tv's, DVD players and Nintendo Wii to keep the children happy. All the cottages benefit from oil underfloor heating on the ground floors and radiators on the first floors.

All your crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, bedlinen, towels, tea towels etc are provided free of charge. We aim to make your stay as comfortable and as stress-free as possible!

Each cottage has its' own patio areas and there is a large shared lawn to the rear of the properties for everyone's use. The Gorlan has its' own enclosed lawn.
There is ample space for car parking and an additional parking area if required for trailers, boats etc. A wash-room on site has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
