Court Colman Manor

About

Nestled at the foot of the Garw Valley, but just a few minutes’ drive from the M4, Court Colman Manor is a peaceful retreat that is easily reached by road or rail.

With just 30 bedrooms, its big enough to offer everything you'd expect from a hotel, but small enough for guests to be known personally. The team is a big part of what makes staying at Court Colman Manor special. You'll be greeted with a genuine smile and treated as a friend coming to stay, not just a traveller passing through.

An elegant Grade II listed Georgian house built in 1776, Court Colman prospered during the 130-year ownership of the Llewellyn family, which began in 1837. Its stunning period features include oak panelled halls, Italian Renaissance fireplaces, a grand ballroom, an elegant Victorian Garden Room and more than six acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.

Now as an AA and VisitWales rated three-star country house hotel, the bedrooms combine modern day creature comforts with period charm. With great access to the M4 motorway, making Cardiff and Swansea within easy reach and a mainline station only two miles away, it is no wonder Court Colman is a popular choice for business guests who take advantage of the ideal location whilst enjoying the professional but relaxed atmosphere.

The 30 en-suite bedrooms are light and spacious, with everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay, from tea and coffee to free Wi-Fi access.

Guests can choose from the standard rooms with their classic comfort and Georgian charm or opt for one of 10 specially designed themed bedrooms or Suites. With the home from home environment of Court Colman, whatever room you choose, you will be guaranteed an experience that will leave you relaxed, revived and refreshed.

And while all hotels offer food, how many have a unique, award-winning restaurant? Court Colman Manor is home to The Bokhara Brasserie which was voted one of the top 10 best UK Indian restaurants by the Independent and the Best Curry Restaurant in Wales at the British Curry Awards on several occasions. It was also awarded a rosette by the AA in 2010 in recognition for its quality of food and service.

Bokhara serves a unique mix of authentic Indian and traditional fayre. Choose from familiar favourite curries or regional vegetarian dishes from the North West of India. You can watch your food being prepared in the traditional tandoor oven.

Court Colman Manor is a perfect choice for overnight accommodation in the Bridgend County and Vale of Glamorgan region. It combines traditional hospitality with a professional and relaxing atmosphere whilst offering award winning food - the perfect combination.

A new addition to Court Colman is Ivy Cottage a 10 sleeper, self-catering holiday cottage complete with heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Ideal for a family getaway.
