Llety Brynawel is a gorgeous Georgian guest house is in the pretty southern Snowdonia village of Pennal between Aberdyfi and Machynlleth (it's the ultimate coast and country location). It is furnished and decorated in a contemporary, understated way, with soothing colours, artworks, lush fabrics and period features such as wooden shutters, wall paneling and cast-iron fireplaces.
The owners also run Glan yr Afon/Riverside, a stylish - and very popular - restaurant based at the village's 16th-century inn. Breakfast is served here (a two minute walk from Llety Brynawel).

By Car: From Machynlleth: At the T junction in front of the clock turn right, then just after crossing the bridge over the river Dyfi turn sharp left.
Continue for approximately 3 miles before entering Pennal. After the Riverside pub and just before the bridge turn right and follow the road up to LLety Brynawel Guest house on the right hand side.
Parking is to the right of the building and in front of the double garage.

The Escape is approached over a level cobbled driveway. There are two steps leading up to the front entrance. The car park is to the side of the house on the cobbled driveway area which is right next to the entrance. The garden area is fairly level with one step leading up to the patio. The ground floor is level with tiled and wooden flooring. There is one guest bedroom and the dining room. There a four further bedrooms on the first floor, which is approached from the hall up a flight of stairs with wooden banister. Three of our bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with toilet, wash basin and glass shower enclosures. One bedroom has a separate toilet and shower with enclosure and the other bedroom has a private bathroom next door. The private bathroom has a toilet, wash basin and bath with overhead electric shower. All bedrooms have remote controlled televisions. All common areas are well lit.
