The Monachty is located in the heart of the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron. The town itself was recently voted the winner in Wales ‘Best places to stay’ competition.

We offer a warm welcome to visitors and locals alike, with a tasty menu offering a wide range of tempting dishes, we're sure you'll enjoy a your meal with us. After all, there’s only one way to eat in Aberaeron, and that’s looking out across the harbour at the stunning Ceredigion coastline.

With 7 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms, The Monachty offers quality accommodation in a picturesque setting. Take a walk along the riverside down to the harbour to take in the fresh sea air and fantastic views. All rooms come with tea and coffee making facilities, free wi-fi and a TV. If you want to make your stay extra special then you can upgrade to a room with a harbour view.

A full Welsh breakfast is served each morning to provide you with the energy you need to enjoy the local coastal walks. The Monachty is located along some of the easiest routes on the Ceredigion coastal path and the next blue flag beach is never far away. Other local attractions include dolphin survey boat trips, Llanerchaeron Gardens and Fantasy Farm Park.

The Monachty is a dog-friendly venue, and your well-behaved pets are welcome in the lounge bar area. For a small extra charge, you may book your pet in with you for the evening in some of the rooms.
