About
Penrhipyn was originally a blacksmith’s shop, the 19th century traditional Welsh cottage is built of river-stone with traditional features throughout including exposed oak beams and wooden flooring. The bedrooms offer wonderful views across the valley.
Located in the middle of Brechfa Forest & the idyllic hamlet of Gwernogle and bordered by the Cothi Valley, Penrhipyn is a beautiful and tranquil rural retreat, complete with its own wild flower meadows.
Situated in Brechfa forest and close to Llanfihangel Rhos-y-Corn mountain and Gorlech Trails Abergorlech, Penrhipyn is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists or for those who just want to get away from it all. Lock-up and washing facilities for up to 6 bikes available
