The George IV Hotel is situated on the High Street in the centre of Criccieth with magnificent views towards the sea and castle from many bedrooms.This iconic hotel with its ideal location is a popular
choice for visitors to Criccieth. Criccieth is situated on the south coast of the Llyn Peninsula, host of wonderful views over Cardigan Bay.

This area of Wales is the perfect place for a relaxing walk, in the West we have the rolling hills of the Llyn Peninsula and to the East, the soaring majesty of Snowdonia with beautiful gardens and castles at every turn. Nearby is the village of Llanystumdwy, which boasts a museum devoted to David Lloyd George, the “Welsh Wizzard”, whose family once lived in Criccieth. Criccieth railway station provides a great way to visit Porthmadog or Pwllheli on the Cambrian line as well as giving an easy route to explore the world of the famous Ffestiniog and the Welsh Highland Railway.
