The Rock Tavern

About

Your hosts Paul and Jennifer Taylor, former winners of Enterprise Inns National Pub of the year offer a warm and unique Welsh Valleys welcome to you here at The Rock.

This historical hostely, opened in 1808 and nestles in the verdant Sirhowy Valley in Blackwood. The Bed & Breakfast accommodation consists of five award winning en-suite rooms all individually designed.

We offer an elegant, well stocked bar, choice of real ales, a selection of wines and some old fashioned soft drinks which all catch the eye as you approach. The menu is comprehensive, predominantly fresh food based and locally sourced wherever possible, catering for both those on the move lunchtimes, as well as those who prefer to linger. Our specials are innovative and changed regularly.

WI-FI access is available in the bedrooms and public spaces.

We are unable to cater for children.
