About

Just off the famous Abergwesyn Mountain Road, close to the historic market town of Tregaron in West Wales, you will find this charming escape for two in the undiscovered Cambrian Mountains.

Just arrive, relax and unwind whilst you explore this beautiful little escape which provides a 4ft x 6ft bed, a wood burner, a single plate induction hob, a small fridge, and all cooking utensils and lots of other things that you rarely find when on a self-catering holiday, together with free Wi-Fi and outside furniture and a barbecue.

The private shower and toilet are just a few yards away, with large plush towels just for you. Gayle and Robert, the fabulously friendly couple who own the Hygge Hut on their farmland, provide a welcome pack of Welsh bread, milk and cakes, along with butter, tea, freshly ground coffee and hot chocolate for perfect hygge. This really is a place to relax and chill out - clean fresh air, no crowds and within easy walking reach of a village shop and a dog-friendly pub amidst the beautiful West Wales countryside.

The Hygge Hut is nestled in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, just a short scenic drive from the Cardigan Bay coastline, including the heritage coastal town of Aberaeron and, a little further afield, the busting market town of Cardigan and the famous seaside town of Aberystwyth. Pets are always welcome with no extra charge, or breed or size restrictions. Special pet amenities include treats, bowls, guest tags, and a guest dog bed or litter box if needed. The large fenced pasture is perfect for general romping, and there are miles and miles of beautiful dog-friendly walks (no stiles!) nearby with no need to get in the car.

Just in case you don't know, "Hygge" is Danish for charming, warm, cosy and everything comforting, just like chicken soup on a cold day.

There are never any additional pet charges. Your cats are welcome, too.
