Penhelig Arms

About

The Penhelig Arms, originally a collection of fisherman’s cottages, now a jewel of Welsh hospitality, overlooks the stunning vista which was, at one time the ship building harbour, surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park.

Whatever your reason to visit our tranquil, beautiful part of Wales, you can be assured of a warm welcome, genuine hospitality, great real ale, fine wines and excellent quality food with menus inspired by coast and country.

We’ve been here since 1750 and we look forward to welcoming you. Overlooking Aberdyfi’s original Elizabethan ship building yard and surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park, nearly all sixteen bedrooms have fabulous sea views of the Dyfi estuary. We know no trip to the coast would be complete without man’s best friend, and so we are more than happy for your dog to stay with you.
