About

Relax in a real country family pub with fine ales, wines and home-cooked food with bed & breakfast accommodation. The Railway Inn is only 1 mile from Offa's Dyke, which is the Welsh/English border for those unfamiliar with the area. This area is a haven for tourists and walking enthusiasts.

We have 5 overnight guest rooms furnished and decorated with neutral colours which all have hand basins but only two of which are en-suite the others share a bathroom on a short landing.

Room 1 is en-suite with a double and a single bed
Room 2 shares the bathroom but has a double and a single bed
Room 3 is the other en-suite with double bed and a single
Room 4 & 5 share a bathroom and have a double bed

All rooms have new digital wall mounted televisions and tea/coffee facilities. We are also able to provide travel cots for young children, and ironing facilities. Small dogs welcome with prior consent.

Road Directions

From Welshpool tourist information centre, turn left at Spar. Go straight across at the traffic lights and continue to the roundabout. Take 2nd exit signed A490 & Mid Wales Airport. Continue for approx. 2 miles, then turn right at the sign for school and Community Centre. Railway Inn is on the left down this road.
