Delfryn Hendre at Hendre Barns

About

Delfryn is a converted stone barn completed in 2013. The barn sleeps six people, plus a baby in a cot, in three double bedrooms, two with 5’ king size beds and one with 3’ twin beds. With two bathrooms (one is an en-suite to the master bedroom), vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and open-plan living, it is the perfect place to spend a week with family and friends.

Delfryn’s external decked area, with seating and barbecue, can be accessed directly either from the master bedroom or from the living room, and benefits from stunning views across the valley to Llithfaen and Yr Eifl in the distance. On winter evenings though, snuggling up on the sofa to watch the Ultra HD Smart TV in front of the wood-burning stove might be preferable. Delfryn also benefits from free Wi-Fi. We have strived to ensure that the kitchen has every item you will need, including a dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and Tassimo pod coffee machine.

Delfryn benefits from level access throughout, a walk-in shower in the en-suite bathroom and a sloped access option for reaching the external decked area from the parking area.

Map & Directions

Road Directions

Directions for Y Ffor - reset your odometer at the crossroads in the middle of the village. Take the B4354 towards Boduan (this is poorly signposted, but if you have come on the A499 from Caernarfon turn right after passing the Londis shop, from Pwllheli turn left after the Esso garage, or from Chwilog go straight across the main road).

After 3.2 miles you will cross a narrow stone bridge over a river. Take the next single track road on the right as you go up the hill (3.3 miles). The entrance to Hendre Barns is located on your left (3.6 miles). Please drive slowly over cattlegrid and along the track as there may be sheep in the field.
