Bwthyn Y Ddol

About

Bwthyn Y Ddol is a beautifully furnished and refurbished stone and slate holiday cottage.

Imagine staying in this cosy, restored stone and slate Welsh cottage in north Pembrokeshire in a quiet, rural location, with a log burner, private and secure garden and luxury hot tub with stunning views.  The garden looks out over the rolling countryside of North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion towards the sea off the Teifi estuary, Cardigan Bay.  On clear days the mountains of Snowdonia can also be seen.

There's a good sized porch perfect for taking coats and boots and more. The porch leads into a corridor which in turn leads to the bedrooms and into the open plan living room with panoramic bay windows.  Sink into the cosy sofas in front of the wood burner on a cool evening and enjoy your meals at the dining table from where there are far reaching views and ever changing skies.  The living room leads through to the fully equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher washing machine and fridge freezer.  From the kitchen the back door opens onto the private decking and garden with secluded luxury hot tub.

The garden is fenced and secure.  Guests also have use of an adjacent small grassy paddock.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms - the master bedroom with king size bed, a twin bedroom with the flexibility to become a zip-locked super king bed and a single bedroom.  There is a family bathroom with over bath shower and also a separate shower room.

This delightful cottage makes a wonderful destination for a rural getaway in all seasons.  Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a stone's throw; the location of the cottage is perfect for those wanting to visit the wealth of local beaches and bays along the coast including our nearest sandy beach, Poppit Sands, as well as being well located for walkers, bird watchers and families.  The ancient market town of Cardigan is 3 miles away and St Dogmael's with its historic ruined abbey is just 2 miles.  The cottage is dog friendly welcoming max 2 dogs.
