About

Wales Coast Awards - Green Coast Award 2024

Located in a peaceful rural location near the centre of beautiful St Brides Bay, the beach is secluded and is usually quiet. With steep cliffs to either side the beach is popular for swimming offering sheltered bathing.

Rock pooling, fishing, surfing and horse riding are also popular. Access to the beach is via footpaths down stream valleys which converge just above the beach.

The beach is not easily accessible for pushchairs, wheelchairs or anyone with limited mobility. At low tide, with care, you can explore along the base of the cliffs at either end of the main beach.

There’s no parking along the roadside; the nearest car parks are in Nolton Haven or half a mile south at Haroldston Chins. Walk down to the coast path from here for fantastic views before following the coast path to the beach. Dogs are allowed.
