The rooks have left the woods and moved into the castle, an omen of bad fortune...or is there something more sinister driving them away? Help us find out why...before it's too late!

Join us this Halloween for some frightful fun at the castle. Follow our mystery trail (for all ages), see what's cooking in the Victorian Kitchens, Facepainting (£4), shadow stories and crafts in the Stablau. NEW FOR 2017 - Ten minute terror tales suitable for 8 years + (8-15 must be accompanied by an adult). Bookable on the day at the castle, first come basis £1 per person per tale. During the weekend of 21 and 22 October and week the of 28 October, Terror tales will be available through the medium of Welsh upon the hour (1pm, 2pm and 3pm).

Booking not needed.

Dressing up in your Hallowe'en costume is not compulsory, but we do love to see them!

The castle is a short walk up from the Visitor welcome centre. A shuttle bus or buggy are available; ask a member of the team upon entry. Refreshments are available to purchase from one of our cafe's on site between 11:00 and 17:00. The castle can be slightly chilly in October, so warm clothing is advisable.
