Halloween: The Ghosts

Halloween: The Ghosts

Details

Ever felt a chill on the back of your neck as you walked around the Castle? If you're feeling brave this Halloween join us as we explore the real ghost stories of Penrhyn Castle.

Did you know that the Welsh 'Calan Gaeaf' was the predecessor of All Hallows Eve, all Saints day and in turn Halloween? As well as a time to celebrate the harvest it was also a time when spirits roamed the land.

Follow the spooky silhouette trail this Calan Gaeaf on a journey to learn about the stories we've heard of ghosts that haunt the Castle.

We'll have plenty of family fun too with crafts and silhouette puppet crafts for you to make your own stories! Join us ...if you dare!

Booking not needed.

Why not wear your Halloween costume? Remember to wrap up well, it can be chilly inside the Castle and stables area - especially with all those ghosts around!
