Llyn Brenig Visitor Centre is the starting point for a visit to Llyn Brenig - whether you intend to walk or cycle one of the waymarked trails, go fishing, or picnic on the lakeside.
The Visitor Centre has a great cafe overlooking the water, an information point and a shop where you can pick up walk routes and information about the flora and fauna - this is the best place to find out what there is to do during your visit. There is also have a play area for young children and there are picnic sites along the shoreline.
Room Hire at the Visitor Centre - The conference room seats up to 40 people, and is a great location for a training event or meeting. A projector can also be made available, and a Wi-Fi signal allows you to log on to the internet.
The Forest Lodge is a smaller space ideal for meetings of up to six people, or for small group activities. Catering can also be provided to the Forest Lodge.
Fishing at Llyn Brenig - Llyn Brenig plays host to the World Fly Fishing Championships and regularly hosts Fly Fishing International challenges. It has an international reputation for the quality of the fishing and it is one of the few remaining fisheries preserved exclusively for fly-fishing. This fantastic fishing venue is open to all who want to have a go (purchase your licence at the Visitor Centre or at the machine)!

Llyn Brenig is open all year, 8am to sunset. The Visitor Centre and Café are open every day (check Christmas and New Year period).

Parking: Pay and display parking is available and costs just £2.50 for a full day. This charge goes towards the maintenance of the site and allows us to keep it open for visitors. Fishing permits to be purchased.
