About

RibRide specialises in highly rewarding adventure days in North Wales, offering a unique experience and range of activities. Designed to suit the adventure seeker and the sun seeker, RibRide aim to provide a professional service for personal or business needs.

The eFoil is the latest adventure offered by RibRide. It is an electric surfboard that flies above a hydrofoil wing. The eFoil is near silent and is charged with power from renewable sources. It is a great way to interact with our environment without imposing on it. The beautifully sheltered Menai Strait makes the area a perfect location to give you the best efoiling experience as you fly above the surface of the water.

Enjoy a fresh, fun RibRide on the Menai Strait. Boats can be booked per seat, or as a whole boat private charter. Perfect is you have a group or want to celebrate a special occasion.

Join RibRide for an action-packed 60 minute RIB trip and experience some of the most magnificent sights along the Menai Strait. Enter the world famous ‘Swellies’ with its shipwrecks, rocks and whirlpools and pass beneath two of the most spectacular bridges in Wales. We then journey to Bangor Pier, passing Millionaires' Row before heading back with some twists and turns to finish.

RibRide trips include:

BRIDGES AND SWELLIES
From Menai Bridge going under Thomas Telford’s Menai Suspension Bridge, we enter the infamous Swellies with its rocks and whirlpools. We spot the Lions and salute Lord Nelson before viewing Plas Newydd. Our ‘classic trip’ a family favourite, available all year, 1 hour.

PUFFIN AND SEALS
From Menai Bridge past Beaumaris and the town’s brightly coloured seafront houses. Heading out to sea we approach Puffin Island/Ynys Seiriol, the uninhabited Island is home to the famous Puffins (seasonal visitors May to July) and the biggest colony of seals in North Wales, 1 ½ hour trip.

Voyager RIB.
This 2 hour 30 minute cruise will take you on a fascinating tour of the spectacular Anglesey coastline, with two possible route options. The route will be determined by the Skipper on the day, based on the prevailing conditions. The cruise will depart from and return to St George's Pier, Menai Bridge.
