Sygun Copper Mine offers a rare opportunity for those with a sense of adventure and curiosity, and is suitable for all the family, to discover for themselves the wonders of an historic copper mine. There are winding tunnels and large colourful chambers with magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations. Activities also include lake side/mountain walks, pottery painting, archery, panning for gold, metal detecting for old coins, adventure playground and bouncy castle. Winner of the Prince of Wales Award for Tourism. Gift Shop and refreshments on-site.

Mine Exploration

Self-guided audio-visual tours through the old workings on foot. Winding tunnels and large colourful chambers with magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations. A rare opportunity to explore tunnels abandoned in 1903.
