Jutting out into the Irish Sea, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula offers 95 miles of dramatic coastline with numerous idyllic, intimate sandy coves as well as vast expansive beaches. The quiet Llyn Coastal Path is great for serious walkers & also perfect for a short evening stroll whilst watching the sunset.
Take a short drive inland & the landscape & scenery changes as you discover the dramatic mountainous terrain of the Snowdonia National Park.
Ropeworks' visitors are free to enjoy the facilities of our Hafan y Môr site...restaurants, shops, cafes (treat yourself to a Starbucks!). Alternatively, after your excitement & thrills, a 5 minute walk takes you down to the sea where, if you're lucky, you can spot dolphins in the bay.
