Presenting timeless standards and scintillating originals from his acclaimed album, ‘Strong Tea‘, jazz French Horn master Jim Rattigan, a former member of Michael Brecker’s Quindectet and the McCoy Tyner Big Band, leads an exceptionally dynamic ensemble of three saxes, three trumpets, two trombones, French horn, piano, double bass and drums.

Comprising some of the most exciting and in-demand instrumentalists in the UK, this innovative all-star lineup features Martin Speake, Andy Panayi & Mick Foster (alto, tenor & baritone saxes); Percy Pursglove, Steve Fishwick & Robbie Robson (trumpets); Mark Nightingale & Sarah Williams (tenor & bass trombones), with Hans Koller (piano), Dave Whitford (bass) and Martin France (drums).

From the North Wales coast, take the A55 towards Chester, take the exit signed Flint and turn right towards Mold. Go through the villages of Northop and Sychdyn, and look for a well signposted right hand turn into the theatre.

From Chester or North East England, take signs for North Wales and Conway. From the A55, filter left onto the A494 for Mold. As you approach the town, there are well signposted signs to the theatre on your right.

From other directions, go through Mold and take the A494 Queensferry road. The theatre is signposted on the left just after you leave the town.
