The Skampa Quartet, originally from from the Czech Republic, have toured worldwide for over 20 years and have an outstanding reputation, playing in all the major concert halls and festivals throughout Europe, north America and Asia.

With regular broadcasts from venues including Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square and LSO St Luke’s in London, the Skampa are performing partners with leading musicians including pianists Melvyn Tan and Kathryn Stott and violinist Janine Jansen.

A carefully chosen programme, featuring core works from the repertoire, includes Schubert’s landmark Death and the Maiden, one of the most popular and much-loved pieces in the entire chamber music canon.

From the North Wales coast, take the A55 towards Chester, take the exit signed Flint and turn right towards Mold. Go through the villages of Northop and Sychdyn, and look for a well signposted right hand turn into the theatre.

From Chester or North East England, take signs for North Wales and Conway. From the A55, filter left onto the A494 for Mold. As you approach the town, there are well signposted signs to the theatre on your right.

From other directions, go through Mold and take the A494 Queensferry road. The theatre is signposted on the left just after you leave the town.
