Details

Come and walk on the wild side with us this half term at Picton Castle & Gardens!

We have lots of fun activities to keep your little wild ones busy!
~Storytime in the gardens!
~Help Sally the squirrel find her acorns hidden around the gardens!
~Fun crafts in the courtyard gallery!
~Daily owl displays on the castle lawn!

We will also be giving our visitors the opportunity to take a tour around the walled garden restoration to learn all about the important ecological steps that had to be taken in order to help preserve wildlife here at Picton, including our new bat hotel!

We will be joined all week by the RSPB, who will be engaging with our visitors about the work they do, and what we can all do to help the wildlife around us.

Please note, storytime is at 11am daily, and will be held in the studio gallery if we are unlucky with the weather! Walled garden tours are at 2pm, wellies are recommended!
There is no extra charge for these activities.

Maria’s restaurant will be open all week serving delicious cakes and lunches!
The castle will be open for tours all week as normal, tours are at 12 & 1pm, and are £6 for adults and £4 for children.
