Guided Walk, from 30 May 2018, £4-£6

St Davids Bishop Palace

St Davids Bishop Palace

Details

This ever popular event invites you to take a twilight stroll around the Bishop's Palace, St. David's. Amanda, the site Custodian, will take you on a journey through time as she brings to life the building and the people who lived there in this very special guided tour.

Pembrokeshire is a special place for bats, offering the ideal ‘des res’, and as darkness begins to fall, the National Park Ranger will explain why that is; while bat detectors help you get a little closer to these mysterious creatures.

This evening tour includes a walk around the principal rooms of the palace, climbing two staircases. Disabled access is available. The bat walk will take participants from the palace to the River Alun at Merryvale, just a few hundred yards away, down a tarmac road.

This is a fun activity for all members of the family. Bat detectors provided.
