Presteigne Food and Flower Festival

Details

On Bank Holiday Monday 6th May, the beautiful town of Presteigne will stage a celebration of local food and gardens at this family-friendly festival. With free entry and free parking, it is a great day out and an opportunity for visitors to meet local producers as well as visiting hidden town gardens and joining in with fun and varied activities.

Stalls lining the High Street and Broad Street will showcase the very best local food and drink producers. In addition, there will be wonderful plant and garden-related stalls and much else besides. Throughout the day, there will be a food court and activities in and around St. Andrew’s Church. Musicians and choirs will entertain around the streets and church. For the young, there will be Forest School and craft activities, face painting, a foraging walk for families, treasure hunts, sack races and more.

Workshops will demonstrate how to make a floral crown and willow plant supports. Delicious dishes made with locally brewed beer and talks by a modern herbalist are also included in the inspiring festival programme.

Free admission, free parking and plenty to eat and drink of course!
