From the dawn of time we have looked for the best way to kill each other. Artillery, objects that shoot, can be objects of great beauty but also inflict great pain and suffering? This small exhibition looks at the development of artillery warfare from the bow and arrows of the ancient world to the machine gun and heavy artillery of the First World War. It also considers the psychological and physical impact of these weapons of death.
