Play, Mon 23 - Tue 24 Apr 2018, £12

Following its 5 star hit run at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cathy comes to Wales Millennium Centre. Cathy tells the story of one woman's fight for her home, her life and her rights.

Exploring homelessness 50 years on from Cathy Come Home, the seminal Ken Loach film, Cathy is candid, poignant and intimate. It offers a timely reflection on the social and personal impact of spiralling housing costs, gentrification and the challenges of forced relocation.

Cardboard Citizens make theatre which illuminates homelessness and the lives of homeless people, revealing truth and sometimes beauty.

After the interval, there will be an opportunity to discuss the performance and change the outcome of the piece by exploring the options available to the protagonist. Audience members are invited to join the forum and discussion, lead by a Cardboard Citizens facilitator, following the performance.
