Festival of Voice: Double Vision

Festival of Voice: Double Vision

Details

A brand-new thriller from Wales Millennium Centre and multi-award winning theatre company Gagglebabble. I saw you. With these eyes. With his eyes…

It’s a glamourous lifestyle aboard the Empress of the Sea for best friends Serena and Mel. Serena woos the crowds with her intoxicating voice and Mel mixes the cocktails. But then, one dark and stormy night, events take an unexpected and sinister turn. Disturbing revelations unfold, the unthinkable happens, and things will never be the same…

This thrilling ride through the darkness of the human psyche blends Gagglebabble’s signature dark humour with an electrifying original score composed by Lucy Rivers performed by a live band fronted by Lisa-Jen from 9Bach.

Double Vision is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock and Earnest Lehman’s un-finished script The Blind Man. Created especially for Festival of Voice this will be a multi-sensory inclusive experience. Expect to be disorientated. Expect to question everything.
