Tafwyl 2024

About

Tafwyl is a free, two day festival which brings together the best of Welsh language music, arts and culture in the heart of Cardiff.

With three music stages featuring a wide variety of artists, a sports area, kids’ village, an array of street food and market stalls and more, Tafwyl has something for the whole family. There is a warm welcome for all – Welsh-speaker or not – and you don’t need a ticket to enter, so come along, join in the festival fun and experience all that Tafwyl has to offer!

The street food area always delivers delicious food from local producers and eatery owners, while stalls from Welsh makers prove a hit. A fringe festival runs alongside it, with events in various museums, libraries, cafés, bars and arts venues across the city.

Bute Park is located in the heart of the City, just a short walk from the main high streets and civic centre. You can access the park just beyond Cardiff Castle.
