The international twin duo-pianists Claire and Antoinette Cann make a welcome return to the Riverfront with a sparkling programme including Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Borodin and Elliott. The twin sisters are known for their virtuosic arrangements of orchestral works and especially the French repertoire featured on their CDs for which they have won Gramophone Critic’s Choice and Classic FM Critic’s Choice. Their performances on one and two pianos have taken them to Europe, USA, Japan, the Middle East and Australasia. They have also performed two piano concerti with many of the major London Orchestras, and at the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.

The distinguished composer, Michael Elliott will also be at the concert and available with the twins to sign programmes.

Parking - Just past Alacrity (on your left as you pass the barrier) there is a small Pay and Display car park (which starts at £1 for up to 3 hours)but is free after 6.30pm. The next closest car park is the Kingsway Centre, you need to drive back out onto Kingsway (main road) and go past the Newport Centre on your right and then take the next turning on the right, which leads around the bend and the approach to the car park. The family and disabled spaces are located on every floor with lift access. It is free for the first 2 hours and £2 for 2-5 hours and £1 for all evening after 6pm. It is a short flat five minute walk from the car park to the venue. *TIP: Cross the road at the first set of traffic lights, for an easier and quicker crossing!
