Llanymynech Rocks is one of only 11 sites in the whole of Wales where the Pearl-bordered Fritillary butterfly still lives. Join our experts on the hunt for this species and the other beautiful butterflies which call this nature reserve home.

Open to all. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Donations welcome.

Meeting point: Shropshire Wildlife Trust car park.

The reserve is close to the A483 Oswestry to Welshpool road, but rather well concealed. About 200m south of the Cross Guns as you leave Pant, turn right where signed to the Reserve into Underhill Lane. Follow round two bends and up the end of the rough track where there is car parking.
