Details

Encore Dance Company - the 3rd year graduating students from the dance courses at Tring Park School for the performing Arts - return with an eclectic mix of established and exciting newly commissioned dance work.

On this year’s tour they will dance a programme that includes the beautiful Concerto pas de deux choreographed by Sir Kenneth MacMillan with the music of Shostakovich. In addition to this they will present a number of newly commissioned works by internationally acclaimed choreographers.
Kerry Nicholls creates a new piece of Contemporary Dance and Tring Park alumnus, now award-winning choreographer, Drew McConie recreates Be Mine with the music of Judy Garland.

Ernst Meisner, Director of the Junior Ballet Company at Het National Ballet in Amsterdam, recreates a work previously performed by his Junior Company.
Jodie Blemings, Director of Chrysalis Dance London, creates a new contemporary work.

Layla Ellison and Gaz Davis are creating two new pieces of commercial dance for Encore Dance as well as works by Antony Dowson, Encore’s Director, Lorraine Jones and Morgan Cloud.

From Hereford A483. Do not take the first signpost for Brecon on the right, instead go to roundabout and follow the sign for Brecon, carry on straight past the Army Barracks until you reach a mini roundabout and take the next turning left (Rich Way). Follow on to next mini roundabout and turn left, Theatr Brycheiniog is next to the canal basin.

From Abergavenny (A40) After the dual carriageway you will come to a main roundabout, take the road into Brecon and follow the directions as above. From Merthyr / Sennybridge Take the road into Brecon over the Usk bridge carry on straight through the town, past the statue, over a zebra crossing and approx 150 yards turn right into Rich Way. Theatr Brycheiniog is on the left by the canal.
