Gomer is the largest independent publisher in Wales and was founded by John David Lewis in 1892, it is still run by a descendent. Other famous names from Llandysul include the mother of Frank Lloyd Wright, Ann Lloyd Jones, and her brother, the famous Unitarian Preacher, Jenkin Lloyd Jones.
