Canoe Safari at WWT Llanelli Wetland CentreBoat TripsOpen throughout the school summer holidays, our canoe safari gives you the chance to explore otherwise inaccessible watery expanses and look out for wildlife on the water.
This wonderful wetland adventure is suitable for children aged five and over (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult) and it’s included in the price of admission to the centre.
Our traditional Canadian canoes are suitable for two or three people (sorry but they can’t be used by solo canoeists).
No previous experience is required so the canoe safari is suitable for complete novices or more experienced canoeists. Full instruction will be given.
A small child can also be accommodated, sitting on a canvas hammock seat suspended in the middle of the canoe.
The canoe safari is considered a safe water environment; it is an enclosed, inland waterway and there are no tides or currents to contend with. The maximum water depth is no more than three feet. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times. Full safety cover provided. Facilities at the canoe safari include an eco-friendly toilet.LlanelliCarmarthenshireUnited Kingdomhttp://www.showmewales.co.uk/?dms=3&feature=12&venue=1013199
