Brecon Baroque Festival 2017: RWCMD Symphonic Brass - Echoes of St Mark’s.

RWCMD Symphonic Brass is one of the most active performance ensembles from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Based in Cardiff, it tours across the UK, collaborating with choirs such as the Cambridge University Chamber Choir, Royal Holloway University of London, the Sitwell Singers in Derby Cathedral and the Cardiff Polyphonic Choir. The ensemble has also performed at Buckingham Palace, opened the Welsh Assembly, and provided fanfares for the Queen’s Jubilee tour to Cardiff.

The town is situated on the main A40 trunk road, midway between Abergavenny to the East and Llandovery to the West. It is also accessible from the South (Cardiff) via the A470 and the North East (Builth Wells, Hay On Wye, Hereford etc.) via the A470 and the A465. The Cathedral is situated on the B4520 and is well signposted as you enter the town - just follow the brown signs.
